Active and transparent engagement with all impacted stakeholders

Performance

As commonly experienced in urban construction projects, the community may be impacted as a result of noise, dust, vibration, visual amenity, utilities and traffic changes. JHCPB continues to actively engage with stakeholders throughout the design and construction stages to ensure the community is provided with timely and transparent information and is given an opportunity to provide two-way feedback. JHCPB’s approach to stakeholder engagement is outlined in the Project Communication Strategy.

During the review period, the Project was impacted by COVID-19. JHCPB adapted by transitioning all community engagement from letterbox notifications to digital notifications and continues to work with the Client to make this a permanent measure.

At the date of review, the Project had received and managed over 500 complaints.
