This Month's Wellness Focus

Board Game Gatherings

Boardgames have been shown to increase brain function by stimulating areas of the brain that are responsible for memory formation and complex thought processes. Several randomized controlled trials indicated that playing traditional board games (e.g. chess) can improve depression. It can strengthen new relationships within the workforce and allow staff to meet new people.

Board Game Gatherings are operating once a month in Rozelle at a local venue. If you would like to find out more please email elysse.turner@rozelleinterchange.com.au or check the upcoming events page to find out when the next gathering is scheduled.

We welcome players of all skill levels, and happily teach games as needed.
