This Month's Wellness Focus

Injury Prevention
Whether you work on your feet, in the cab of a machine or at a computer there are simple things you can do to prevent injury. We seek to educate and enable our people to ensure that they don’t suffer a totally preventable injury.

Prevention Program
Injury prevention program is aimed at providing a platform for our workforce to come forward with any early signs or symptoms of body stress. This can be aches and pains, tightness, restricted range of motion or muscular weakness. This gives us an opportunity to provide advice and education on how to reduce/minimise or fix the problem before it develops any further. The injury prevention program will focus on strength and mobility training to protect against developing injuries.

Self Assessment and Stretching Programs
Importance of stretching - The pre-start stretching program is about more than just a warm up, it is the first line of defence against early body stress and muscular injuries. Use the stretches as a method of assessing how your body is feeling and if overtime you feel changes to your base line level "Body Natural". Identify these changes early and report them to your supervisor.
